Statement
Originally from San Francisco, I moved to Placer County about 25 years ago. I have been with Granite Bay Montessori since it first opened in 1990. I taught Lower Elementary for several years before moving into Upper Elementary and then into Middle School. I enjoy all aspects of teaching. While I enjoy all subjects areas, art is quickly becoming my favorite. In addition to teaching, I am the Director of Children’s House and the Assistant Director of Elementary. Prior to GBM, I taught at American Montessori.
Interests
I enjoy my time at the gym, reading, art, music, and writing. I am looking forward to starting my Masters Program.
Personal Information
I live in a small, quiet neighborhood in Roseville. My oldest son is father to three beautiful children (two attend our school) . My youngest son is IT Specialist, serving in the navy aboard the Nitmitz. He will be stationed in Sicily for three years starting January of 2009.
