Statement
I have taught middle school (6th - 8th grade) at Granite Bay Montessori for the past 11 years. I enjoyed teaching and teenagers very much! Prior to that I functioned solely as the school administrator and was responsible for the move to our current site as well as oversight of building the facility. I also work as a volunteer for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for El Dorado County. I work with children in the foster care system as an advocate for them in court to make sure their needs are met. I have three children who have either graduated from GBM, or work at GBM, or both!
Interests
Running, Tennis, Music (I play the accordion!), ballroom dancing.
