Service Reporting Guidelines

Parents may claim the following hours when items are sent to school.


  • Homemade Items:  (only items requested through the Parent Volunteer Program)


    • Brownies/cake – 9” x 13” – 1 hour credit


    • Cookies – 2 dozen – 1 hour credit


    • Desserts for 8 to 12 – l hour credit


    • Hors d’oeuvres/main dishes for 8 to 12 – 1 hour credit.



  • Purchased Items (only supplies requested through the Parent Volunteer Program)


  • Variety of items:  1 hour for each $10 spent


    • Desserts, soda, water, chips, paper utensils, etc.



  • Field Trip Participation – 2 hours credit

Miscellaneous Activities Earn the Number of Hours Served

Examples:


  • Student activities:  Actual number of hours served.


    • Offering a class in our after-school program.


    • Making classroom materials, etc.



  • Chaperone Activities:  Actual number of hours served.


    • Supervision at lunch, etc.



  • School Service Opportunities


    • Work Days


    • Maintenance Issues



  • Auxiliary Events:  Actual number of hours served.


    • School Fundraisers


    • Parking Lot Sale


    • Clean up, Set Up of any school event.


    • PAC participation, Committee Chairperson/participation
